Our week was okay. Not too much happened.It was good though.
We had a few lessons with S. and we were also able to contact O. and R, a referral the elders gave us. And we were able to contact another referral that we found in our area book, J.
S.is progressing really well. He also came to church yesterday, and that was exciting. I can see a big difference in how he is now and how he was the first time I met him. It's really neat to see that.
We also met O. and R. O. is R's mom. R. is in his thirties, and he has some issues. She seems really tired with the whole situation and she just wants to help her son. He also blames her for a lot of things, some that don't seem true, and thats hard for her. We were able to talk about the Atonement and how Christ can help us, and wants to help us, and she wants us to come back.
J. was also a really neat miracle. She seems open to learning about other religions. We talked to her about the Book of Mormon. She had never heard of it, and she said she was going to read it right after we left. She seemed pretty excited to read it, too.

And thanks for all your help with transferring to BYU! I've talked with President about the ecclesiastical endorsement, and i thought he already did it. Does he just go online to sign it or whatever? I appreciate all of it! :)
fun things for when i get home?? i have no idea,but i'm really excited to sleep in on thursday. :)
also, this thursday is my last district meeting. next week on friday we're having a member of the seventy come. that should be exciting. and you're gonna die when you hear this about this district meeting, but theres a story to it, and thats pretty funny too. you might wanna make sure you're sitting down when you read this, especially those that know me...... :)
so it goes like this:
there is this awesome member, sister a. and she works in the office for the santa maria FM group, and she goes to our ward. we eat with her and her family every third monday. they have a tradition where, when missionaries leave, they have to sing a hymn from the hymn book, by themselves. (guess what i get to do the 22nd!) thats part one. are you dying yet, knowing that i will be singing a solo??
part 2. the elders were at the church building one day, where her office is at, and they saw her. and they said that she told them about my solo. so our district leader, elder f., got the idea to have me sing in district meeting. but don't worry, hermana cuevas is doing it with me (he kinda took my agency away. i tried to decline.) and we're having another hermana play the piano. i'm dying inside i'm so nervous! haha. when i came on a mission, i never thought i would do so much singing. and people think its kinda funny when i tell them that no one back home has heard me sing. (don't get your hopes up, either ;) haha)
