This week's email...PART TWO!....September 2, 2014

so, you're probably wondering why you're getting an email from me on a tuesday. :) we got permission to finish emailing today since we had such a shorter time yesterday.

 

I'm glad yall got to have a nice labor day weekend. yesterday we went to wash our car and there were like a bazillion huge trucks with RV trailer things. and they were all also putting air in their tires. it was insane.

 

also, i'm pretty excited about the bigger bed. thank you :) and thanks for everything with my room, too!

 

everyone is doing well, too. we were gonna have a lesson with a. this morning, but she was sick, so then we came here. s. is doing fine, too.

 

and the luffa farm didnt happen. :( its only open wednesday through sunday. they should really change their sign that says "free drop in tours." haha :)

 

and i finished all the essays for the BYU application stuff and i mailed them yesterday. i forgot to include the paper that had the "mark 1-4" for the "essay B, part 2" thing, but i wrote it on the back of the envelope. also, i'm out of stamps, and i don't really want to buy more because i only have two p-days left where i would write letters....and so i'll just try to make my emails more detailed :)

we knock on a lot of doors.  and not many people answer. and when they do they dont want to talk to us.but its all good. i wish more people would want to talk to us, because i believe that we all kind of really need it. :)

 

also zone conference was awesome!!! i told you that i gave the talk on virtue. and we learned a lot about service. they told us about justserve.org, a website where we can find service opportunities around our area. so we get more service, and we get to knock less. :) and it was good to get to know the felix's more. they're really fun and i'm glad that i get to work with them. i wish i had a little more time, but i can still keep in contact with them :) and our new Christ like attribute that we're focusing on is charity. :) it was weird knowing that it was my last zone conference, too.

 

oh and we heard that on the 19th this month we are going to have a member of the Seventy come talk to us. that should be neat :) I don't know who it is yet, though.

 

also, i'm in Mormon in the Book of Mormon... almost in Ether. and i'm in 4 Nephi in spanish. i should be finishing both before i get home :)

 

and i think thats about it. thanks for everything yall do! :)
