hola mi magnifica familia! hahaha so i'm in santa paula this next transfer! and with my same companion!! i'm excited to stay because we hopefully we have robert baptized in august!
and the guerreros daughter says y'all!!! courtesy of yours truly :)
and a posole update. its actually really good! especially when they take the bones out before they serve it. we had it twice this week. who knew that better lighting and finding out that it has hominy and not questionable animal insides in it could make a difference?! hahah :) (when we first had it, my companion didnt know how to describe hominy, so everything was left to my imagination.......)
oh my goodness yall will not believe what happened this past week!!!!! we had a lesson with a less active and she has her records in ventura but lives in SP. (shes spanish) EVERY time we go there i get SOOOOO tired. i dont know why. and EVERY time i have a really hard time keeping my eyes open. its not sleeping, but my eyes literally wont stay open. i used to think that maybe it was just in my head that my eyes were actually closed and that they were really open. NOPE! haha hna hernandez told me that she kept looking at me and so she turned to look at me and my eyes were closed!!! SOOOO embarrasing!!!!!!! hna hernandez said she tried so hard not to laugh! and every time we go there i try so hard to keep my eyes open! i try pinching myself, moving my position, looking at different spots in the room, paying realllyyyyy close attention and....nothing works! i even tried writing down words in my planner that i didnt know. i felt soo bad!!! and i cant say anything because i dont know whats going on (because its in spanish, not because my eyes are closed haha)! when we left hermanan hernandez gave me the nickname "sleeping beauty"
we also declared (mom note: i have no idea what this means) to the people that live across the street from us. they always wave when we leave. they're old ish guys. they asked if we go on dates on our missions........nope. hahaa.
and we also met a guy who plays dungeons and dragons a lot. oh gamers....... geez. and his name means "treeless plateau" in some other language. i dont remember his name, just what it means. he was...interesting.
we also had a great lesson with robert!!!!!!!!!! he's divorced and has been looking for this gospel! he said we answered questions hes had for years when we taught him the restoration!! he's golden!!
this week has been good!!!! lots of interesting people! every day is great! even when things get to be not so great, everything is great!! i'm happy everyday and i love being a missionary!!!!!!
love yall!!!!!! yo amo ustedes (or vosotros. no se. they didnt really teach vosotros in the MTC)
