a great week!....October 21, 2013

this week has been good! we had this super cool event where we had an hispanic culture night and some amazing dancers come dance for us! i have pictures and videos!!! sorry i havent said much about it! there was a lot of confusion about this event, so i wasnt sure exactly what to say about it, but now that it happened, i know what to say!!! haha. i'll send my other memory card sometime that have the videos. we also got to meet the dancers after the event. the girls are SO cute and the men were really funny! the men kept asking if they could take pictures with US!!! haha! 

and fancy pants!!!!!! we have tiwi, and when they installed tiwi in the car, they broke the cover on the driver side that goes over the air bag! i was super freaked out to drive because i didnt know if it was gonna come out, haha. so that broke and it wouldn't stay on all the way. so we had to take it to the dealership and get an estimate, and then the next day, we got it fixed. which, we got it fixed on my bday!  so thats when we got to sit in the camaro's and stuff. :) also, before we took it in, we had to drive to oxnard to have one of the senior couples look at it. he put the tape on it, and we put the band aids on it.

sounds like things are fun with yall. ahhh college. mom you must be having so much fun. the memories..... pajama pants and taking tests in my bed. and falling asleep reading my psychology book. haha :) and i hated group work too!!! 

e. and m. were in our area book! so we stopped by one day and they were there. they're really receptive and one day we were talking with two of their friends, and e. was telling his friends "come on guys, this makes sense, this is true." he's really great! 

and thank you for the packages!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i was deciding what to wear for the event/day, and i had no idea, and like 10 minutes before we had to leave, they came!!!! so i knew what to wear!! for the most part they all fit really well!! the ones that didn't, i put in our free box we have and the other sisters in our apartment tried them on and they fit, so it was like Christmas in October. and i love he jacket and the shirts!!! everything is reallly great!!!!!!!!!! thank you soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo much!!!

And transfers are this week!! I'm staying! hermana p. got her VISA, so she is going to Argentina! she'll be going to transfer mtg and staying with the sisters in ventura. and then thursday she leaves! and then my new companion will be hna s.! and then hna m., who already lives in our apartment, will be companions with hermana h., my last companion!

and one thing we studied this week is why we have the Sabbath day on sunday and not saturday. we were studying to to answer an investigators question. its cool studying to be able to help them understand, because you learn too.
