About transfers....we're both staying! Sweet!!!!
We had a really good week! We saw T. this week. She's doing well and we were able to talk to her about the Book of Mormon. It's hard for her to read it every day because she has a lot going on with school, but she wants to read. We gave her another copy of the Book of Mormon so she can have one at her mom's house and at her aunts house because she lives at both. She was excited about that and said it will really help.
We also met with Hermana Z. She is a less active. She feels like God is with her at her home, and she feels like she already knows everything about the gospel, so she doesn't need to go to church. We tried talking to her about the Book of Mormon, but it "upset" her because we were talking about things that she says she already knows, haha. If she knows it all, she'd come to church to help those that don't haha. But she liked having us there and she appreciated us coming by.
We also met with C. and his wife. She is less active, and he's active. He really wants his family to be active again. We've heard that his wife used to not like missionaries at all, so it was a miracle that we were able to talk to her. She seemed to want to come to church, but she's afraid. Her fears mostly seem to be social-she's nervous about making friends because it's hard for her. She told us that she talks to her plants and flowers. :( But we told her that she has a lot of support for coming back, and it helped her to know that.
A. is also doing well! Nothing new going on with him, yet!
We also had a lesson with J. We followed up on his reading, and he read in the Book of Mormon! He's prayed and he really feels like this is right. He really wants to come to church. His wife doesn't drive, and he has to drive her to work on Sundays, so it's hard, but he wants to teach her how to drive so he can come. He has a lot of faith and he loves learning about this!
funny stories......we were walking and these 3 boys around 8 years old or younger were like "can we have whatever you have?" and we asked what they wanted. they said "just whatever you have!" so we gave them each a card with Jesus Christ on it. they asked if it was God and we said it's Jesus. They then asked "do you know God?!" haha we told them "well, kinda, yeah!" they asked if we had seen him. we told them "no, but we can talk to Him, and you can too!" they also asked if he can see us and thought it was really cool that He can. haha it was really cute!
