Hey family!
This week has been really good! The work is booming here, and we are seeing so many miracles!
We had a really good lesson with V. this week. She's a member. She's in our less-actives, but she doesn't completely seem less active. She knows a lot about the gospel, and she really wants to understand even better a lot of things about it. With her, we feel like it's best to ask her what she wants to know more about, and then we teach her. We talked a lot about trials and why we have them and why some are longer than others-for us and other people. We also talked about how Christ can help us. It was really good and she seems like she really appreciates us coming. We also had a lesson with J. Hermana AhMu and Higgs met him on exchanges and set up an appointment. We taught him the Restoration and he understood it really well. He told us that he really wants to come to church. It's difficult for him right now, but he really wants to come.
A. also came to church, and he loved it! We also had a lesson with him that night and we were able to talk to him about it. Two Saturday's ago we had a lesson scheduled with him and he wasn't there, so we left a note to let him know we came by. He saw the note and he called us back. When he called, he told us he really wanted to come to church. On Sunday he told us that he had seen the church building before, and he always wanted to come in. He also told us that he knows this is that path for him to take. He knows there are a lot of paths out there, but he knows that this is the right path. And that night when we talked to him, he told us how much he loved it. He wants to keep coming and he wants to bring his family. He felt really welcomed by the branch and he told us when he looks at the members, he can tell that they have peace, and he really wants that. He really felt the spirit at church. This has been a huge miracle, and we both are so grateful to be here.
We also had exchanges this week. I was with Hermana Schmidt. My goal for the day was to use the scriptures more. It was really good to work on, and I really liked trying to use the scriptures in all teaching situations. We had a good day. We were able to find a few less actives that are hard to contact. We also met one who I had never met before. His name is G and he was helping his neighbor with some yard work. We went up to them to talk to them and G. told us he was a member. He has some really good questions and he wants us to help him understand better. We also stopped by C. Her husband isn't a member, so we invited her to talk to her husband about learning.
We also met a few people with a lot of potential. We met L. and we taught her the Restoration. She said she would be baptized, she would just want to talk to her husband about it first. We have an appointment with her again this week. We also met S. She and her husband really want to learn more about this. They told us they met missionaries a while ago, and they want to keep learning. And we also met L. He has really great questions and his beliefs match ours. He said he feels like he hasn't found the right church, but he knows there is one true church.
Also! I found out that I'm getting a new missionary card because of the Target thing. Which means the one I have now has been deactivated, so I can't use it for the next 10 days or so. 
Bummer.
But happier things! Mothers day is this Sunday! I'm calling at 5:00 pm, so that'd be 8:00 pm there. Do you still want me to call your cell phone if its around that time? Also think of questions!
Also we had a branch activity, and we decided that someone needs to make a movie (like the Singles Ward, or the RM, etc) and call it "The Spanish Branch."
