Feliz Navidad...December 23, 2013

Hey family!!!
This past week has been pretty good!!! We've had a few really good lessons and we've met some good people, some interesting people, and a lot of people who aren't interested. "oh esta, todo bien!"

We had a really good lesson with B. She's been going to church with her daughter for about two years. She's basically a "dry mormon" or a "just add water (and fire) mormon." We talked about baptism and the holy ghost and read 2 Nephi 31. She told us she wants to have the Spirit with her and she knows she needs to be baptized. Her daughter is a member and said it was a really good lesson and it was exactly what she needed to hear. She also prayed to know if she should be baptized in the closing prayer, which she hasn't done yet!

We also finally met with A! We texted him one day and asked if we could stop by that evening and he said yes, and he asked what he could do to prepare for the lesson! We told him to visit mormon.org and then we read about Christ's birth from 3 Nephi. It was a really good lesson, and we also talked about the things he read on mormon.org.

and the Christmas devotional was sooooo great! it was spiritual, but it was wayyy more relaxed than a zone conference or transfer meeting. I love President and Sister Castro soooo much!!!!! They are so nice and just really great people! and their kids, Hannah and Sam, are soo fun and so sweet!

and I'm out of time, but to end, here's a funny story. we met these men drinking yesterday. (we have a rule though to not talk to people under the influence, and I am soo grateful for it!!!) we got away ASAP, but one wants to marry me.

have a fantastic week and a merry Christmas!!!!

Thanks for all you do!!!
