Heads Carolina...Tails California: Weird to Think It's Been One Month....Now 17 to Go!.....April 26, 2013

Hola!!

We got up at three today!! we are so dumb haha! and we didn't get new sisters in our room this week (the old ones left wednesday)!! we're really glad about that because one of them snores like a man! it was kind of like being back home, pre-darth vader. :) and they were messy, so i always had to jump over their luggage on the floor to get out of the room. I got the package with the sweatshirt!!!! thank you!!!!!! I'm doing great!!! it's weird to think that we don't have that much time left! and it's weird to think it's been one month! now 17 to go!

with the package to cali, i think a few blazers? if i have a shower gel in there, then that too. (i'm doing fine with that here) i don't even remember what else was in there. the stationary stuff in there also. i don't think I'll need a lot. and i don't need anything else while i'm here!

things are good with our district!!! our branch presidency wanted us to get to know our zone so we have to sit with each other at meals. we've been doing that for a few weeks. it's really effective. i really feel like i know the zone so well. i think I've only talked to some of the people in the zone like twice. and that was me talking to them, not them talking to me/us. i get that it's a good thing to get to know them, but.....i can't think of what else to say this early haha. the people in our zone are nice, but are district was closer when we weren't being overly encouraged to sit with the zone, if that makes sense? plus my first impression of the zone leaders wasn't the greatest. they said we had to sit with them,, and when we didn't the first few times, they kind of glared at us in the cafeteria. haha they're real nice here! :)

we're all pretty good friends here with our district. i sit next to elder plyler and he's kind of a lot like dan! he sings, makes random noises, and makes more random noises haha. but he's not a ginger. but we do have a ginger! we joke that he has no soul, and seriously that joke hasn't gotten old!! :)

there hasn't been that much in the way of funny stories this week. oh we get travel plans today!!!!!!!! oh and we got to be hosts for the new missionaries wednesday!! that was fun too!

i'm definitely quiet here, but it seems like my district likes to hear what i have to say (they've said that, so its not just me saying that haha) oh and funny! we all for the most part love each other here, so they love me, but come on who doesn't haha :) (thats also them saying that, not just me haha)

the language is coming....not as fast as I want it to, but its coming. :)

i think all my stuff will fit to california. i hope so! i did send my old luggage back! it was like 20 dollars. i like my new luggage, also!

investigators! we've consistently been teaching nando. he's accepting of what we say, but he doesn't see how it applies to him and his life. so we've been working on that. but we get new teachers for our last week, so we get new investigators. and we get a new schedule. its because of the semester ending, etc at BYU. so its possible that my p-day next week will be on a different day.

the california mission shirts take like three weeks to get here, and i found that out recently, so i wont be able to get one. but i can look into the spanish ctr ring!! i've seen people with them, but i'm not sure where they got them?

i'll send pictures when i go to the computer room upstairs!!! i'm not sure how to send them from the computers in the laundry room!

oh and I've seen elder heil, elder klopfer, and elder milton! i see elder heil the most because his classroom is in my same building and on my hall!

oh and hermana fitzpatrick and i try to speak as southern as we can on random days! its fun haha!

oh and I'll be able to talk at the airport! they have phone card things here, but i don't know how they work? do you know how they work??
